Weekly two or three hour class exploring and learning new techniques.
You will be using a range of media; you'll be having fun and creating outcomes you'll be proud of.
Expect mindfulness, wellbeing, fun, fine art, mess, joy and laughter, as well as learning and creativity.
Fine Art 10am to 12 noon or 1pm
Tea and coffee, with biscuits, provided.
Pay as you go on the day by card or cash. Payment in advance for best discounts.

Oil Painting in 6 Lessons
Learn how to Oil Paint in my home studio. To BOOK
Lessons are every fortnight, for six sessions.
TUESDAYS 10am to 12 noon.
You must sign up for all six sessions as each lesson feeds into the next one.
Each stage of your painting will start to build. Paintings will dry in my home studio between sessions.
RESOURCES:
Please bring your own oil paints, brushes and canvas. Easels and spirits will be provided. BUT some small packs can be provided; please enquire, or if you want help purchasing.

How to use your Digital SLR Camera in 6 lessons
How to use your Digital SLR

TUESDAYS 2pm to 4pm
A six-part course that will enable you to make the most out of your Digital SLR, unravelling the mysteries of the buttons and enabling you to master the controls. You must sign up for all six sessions.
You must have a Digital SLR camera, it does not matter how old it is.
You must have means of downloading your images onto a computer, phone or tablet.
What you will learn:
Lesson 1 - Finding your way around and Apertures
Lesson 2 - Shutter Speed part one - freezing movement
Lesson 3 - Shutter speed part two - blurring and capturing low light
Lesson 4 - iso, light, colour temperature and lenses
Lesson 5 - on location, putting your learning into action through colour hunting and modernism (location tbc)
Lesson 6 - post-processing, special effects and making the most of your photographs. To this lesson please bring a computer, tablet or phone - you will be advised on post-processing software.

About me:
I believe in the Creative Visual Arts as being an essential part of society and vital to the world that we live in.
Classroom experience over 21 years, the last 10 in middle management of a highly successful Art Department in an HMC school.
I can offer teaching at all levels.
I bring industry experience to my teaching having worked in the commercial sector for 10 years.
I am an artist and I share my creative enthusiasm, as well as techniques, I believe that all forms of Art are Art; there are no restrictions on media type.
I am, therefore, open to all new technologies as well as traditional media.
I am highly skilled in photography, Adobe Photoshop, film editing, lighting, digital presentations, Fine Art painting, drawing and printmaking.
